Fire Corps

The Fire Corps is made up of volunteer interested citizens who wish to contribute time and energy to assist the fire department personnel and other first responders in Hancock County by providing rehab for firefighters, and by performing public relations, traffic control, educational activities, and other functions as required at emergency incidents and department functions.

Monthly meetings, training activities, new member orientation, and other routine activities will be organized and led by members of the fire corps leadership team.

If you are interested in joining the Fire Corps, contact Trevor Oak at oakt.vtfd@gmail.com. Applicants will be selected based on successful completion of a background check.
